Fried Chicken

  • Araliya Chilli Paste - 2 tbls spn

  • Araliya Chilli Pieces - 2 tbls spn

  • Araliya Chilli Powder - 2 tbls spn

  • Cut chilies 10g

  • Onions 10g

  • 3 eggs

  • 250ml Milk

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Onion Powder

  • 500g Chicken Thighs

  • 400g Flour

  • Chicken stock powder

  • 100g butter


Add milk into a bowl, add 3 eggs, add Araliya chilli powder, add salt, pepper, onion powder mix the batter well.

Cut chicken strips, soak it in the batter, make sure the entire chicken strip is covered in batter, dip the strip into flour and cover the entire strip in flour, add it back to the batter.

After all the strips are covered in batter and flour, heat oil for 5mins and fry the chicken strips in hot oil.

To make the sauce, add butter to a heated pan, when the butter starts melting and sizzling add the chilli pieces, chilli paste and fry for 2 minutes.

When the sauce is done, add the chicken to a bow, add chicken stock powder, add the sauce and fold it.

Add spring onions, onions, chillies and sesame seeds on top and serve hot.
